The Macmillan Benefits Team is a partnership which exists to provide an advice and support service for people affected by cancer and their families in the West Dunbartonshire Council area. They offer a free and confidential benefit check, advice and guidance on income maximisation, including support to make claims, access to grants and other sources of assistance. This can be self-referral or referral by Social Work or Health Professionals.
Catchment area:
West Dunbartonshire – Clydebank, Dumbarton, Alexandria. Anyone affected by cancer including carers, family. Provision available via Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre, Gartnavel Hospital and Vale of Leven Hospital.
